Zulu is well underway, and actually, I'm almost done with my dummy! I will probably be ready to send it out in a few weeks. I need to pick a few to paint (psst...they are already picked and almost ready to start painting!) and to finish 1 or 2 more sketches. Oh, and make a cover image. Then I'll be sending Zulu out into the world! She's so small and delicate, I hope she does ok on her own!
Here are a few spreads from the book. Some are more finished than others. I wont explain them all, you'll just have to see the finished book (someday) to get the whole story. ;D
Enjoy, and next time I will walk through 1 or 2 spreads that I am painting to show the whole process. Or maybe just the interesting parts.
