I've been taking a life painting class this summer. This my second painting class and the first time I've ever used oil paint! It is a very challenging class, but I am definitely learning alot about color and lighting! Here's a painting I did to practice hands.

Awesome! How do you like using oils? They're great for blending and soft lighting, but I hate the drying time. Did you work from a photo?
I like oils more than I thought I would...but I can't say they are my favorite. I just feel a lot more comfortable with dry mediums. This was partially from a photo...mostly from observation though.
