Expressions

We were practicing facial expressions in my class today so I did a little of my own in my sketchbook while listening to the Wicked soundtrack. Some of the lyrics inspired me...

Fishy

Sometimes you are inspired by the most unlikely and random things in everyday life. This is a result of that experience. I saw the faint shapes of this little fishy on a steamy mirror in the bathroom and he just had to be drawn out! Nothing amazing or ground breaking, but just kind of cute.

Another Lighthouse

Still working on getting used to the medium...but I think I'm starting to get a handle on it. I used a dark blue gesso this time. Same lighthouse from a different view and different setting. I'm liking this one a lot better. Thoughts?
